Janet Jackson is back with new music!

The pop star unleashed her new Daddy Yankee assisted single on us. It’s titled “Made For Now,” a warm, infectious pop song about enjoying the moment. Life could be a lot simpler if we just listened to Janet, really.

“If you’re livin’ for the moment don’t stop, and celebrate the feelin’,” Janet sings over Harmony Samuels’ rump-shaking production. “Go up, if you’re livin’ for the moment / Don’t stop, ’cause I break those ceilings.”

It’s the advice I didn’t know I needed. She also released a dance-heavy video for it (directed by Dave Meyers) complete with some high fashion lewks, million dollar smiles and sultry stares. Miss Jackson if you’re nasty is NOT messing around.

“Made For Now” serves as the first release off Janet’s new indie label, distributor, and publisher Cinq.
